Toothpaste can make your jewelry shine again, but you need to know what’s safe to clean. Skip anything delicate like pearls, opals, or soft gemstones—they can scratch easily. And gold jewelry? Keep toothpaste far away. But silver loves a good scrub. Using white (not gel) toothpaste and a soft toothbrush, you can lift tarnish and bring back that gorgeous shine. Diamonds can sparkle beautifully too—just use a gentle brush or microfiber cloth, especially if they’re set in gold.
